What is a Learning Coach?
With Stride Career Prep, parents play an active and important role in their child's education—one we call the Learning Coach. In this role, you'll:
- Provide academic support, motivation, and guidance throughout the school year
- Ensure your student’s on track with assignments and coursework
- Help and encourage your student with project-based learning
- Communicate with teachers and report daily attendance if required by your school
- Help with logistics and permissions for internships or work-based learning
If you or your child's legal guardian are unable to fill this role, you can choose a family member, a friend, or another trusted adult to be the Learning Coach.

Learning Coach Support
Being a Learning Coach means you're empowered to help your student achieve their academic goals. Schools with Stride Career Prep programs will provide you with the resources you need to be successful.
