Cora, a 10th-grade student at Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy, placed second in the K12 Photography Competition, winning $500 for her photo of rainwater droplets on a leaf. Captured in her front-yard garden, the image impressed judges from National Geographic and other photography experts. With over 12,000 entries nationwide, Cora’s work stood out for its creativity and storytelling. An aspiring artist, she also enjoys painting, drawing, and writing, showcasing her passion for creativity and nature.
