Joseph, a 14-year-old student at Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA), spent his summer training in Italy under the Italian national fencing coach after placing 11th in his age bracket at the USA Fencing National Championship. Immersed in an international fencing camp, he learned new techniques and connected with fencers worldwide, enhancing his skills for future competitions. With support from his father, a former fencer and current coach, Joseph balances his rigorous training with his online studies, aiming to excel in both academics and fencing.
