Career Prep Programs Help High School Students Find Their Best Professional Fit
There are numerous career pathways and options in today’s working world. Diversity in professional roles, as well as where and how a candidate fulfills those roles, has never been greater. New professionals have the options of working in corporate settings, nonprofit environments, with start-ups, and even as entrepreneurs (working for themselves to achieve something brand new and exciting). Professionals also have decisions to make regarding long-term career trajectories, when and how they personally work best during the flow of the day and week, and also whether or not they wany to work on-site or remotely.
If variety is the spice of life, then today’s job market, and the options it contains for high school students and recent graduates, is certainly spicy. So, how can a student discover and definitively know whether or not they’ve found the best career fit for their unique dreams and goals? Well, three Stride Career Prep students help provide clarity on that topic, by discussing the moment they discovered their careers.

“After I had passed my first class exam, I felt inspired to look at some of the other career certifications that my school offered. Passing that one professional certification exam had boosted my confidence, and so I felt ready to pursue even more career certifications, to benefit my future. I decided to train for some of them in my free time. Using the encouragement and strength that I got from my teacher, I trained and got four more certifications!”
