How Online School Allows Me To Have Two Part-Time Jobs

Online Education Can Bring Balance To Work And School Schedules

By Kendra Berrier, Stride Student Advisor

I juggle two part-time jobs, family obligations, and online school all at the same time. Want to know how I do it? Well, let me tell you how…

Attending a brick-and-mortar school might make this task difficult. However, online school at Stride creates an entirely different take on this matter. At the time of this blog post, I am maintaining straight A’s in school, and I am still spending quality time with my family. There is no need to sacrifice time for either work or family. And, attending an online school is a simple solution for anyone who has a busy life, or would rather have other commitments than just going to school.

Online schooling at Stride is like having a superpower, allowing me much more personal flexibility. I have the availability to start work at any time during the day, so I have the opportunity work when it’s convenient for me. Whether it is in-between meetings or at 1 o’clock in the morning… I can work as I please. I am able to work all night and sleep half of the day, without even needing to worry about missing the proverbial school bell.

By choosing to attend an online school, you get the ability to work wherever you please, as long as the location has internet. For example, one could work outside on the porch when it’s sunny, but when it becomes too cold and snowy, one can move living room sofa, or even the bed. I can even work on my school assignments on business trips for work, if the need arises. Therefore, multitasking is made easier by choosing an online school with career prep.

Online schooling at Stride helps students get ready for the life that exists outside of high school… whether that life will include college or not. Online classes with Stride have students learning valuable skills such as professional communication, multi-tasking, and discipline, in addition to a thorough curriculum. Even while I have two part-time jobs now, I am continuing to learn more and more about how to improve my job performance through my experiences with online school.

And, if I decide at any point that I want to set aside more time for a business meeting or simply to see friends, I can work ahead on my class assignments. So, whether you juggle jobs like I do, or you are simply looking to free up more time in your overall schedule, online schooling with Stride can assist you in making these desires come true. Stride can help you achieve anything!
