Computer support specialists, also called technical support specialists, analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate computer network problems for their employers. They play an important role in the routine maintenance and ongoing functioning of their organization's networks. Imagine a company-wide computer system having a glitch with no one around to figure out why and how to fix it? Scary thought! On average, you could earn around $42,459 per year in this IT role, after completing an Associate’s degree.
