Hybrid Learning Provides Hands-On, Rigorous Classes
While some families may like and need a fully virtual school option, some are looking for the flexibility of an online school with the hands-on experience of in-person classes. That’s where Marian University Preparatory School comes in. MU Prep offers a hybrid learning option that brings students to Marian University’s Indianapolis campus two days each week for classes and enrichment experiences. The rest of the week, students learn from home—or wherever an internet connection exists. These options put families in control of their student’s education.
Marian University Preparatory School hybrid students learn alongside their virtual peers during core classes—like reading or math—even on days when they are in-person. This ensures all our students can learn together throughout the week. After their core classes, hybrid students participate in project-based learning opportunities and activities on the Marian University campus.
So far this school year, MU Prep hybrid students have worked on a variety of projects and experiments , learned about therapy dogs , explored the Nina Mason Pulliam EcoLab , visited the Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library to learn about the St. John Bible, attended All-Campus Mass at Marian University, and much more.
No matter which option you choose for your child, Marian University Preparatory has the flexibility to meet your student’s needs. Indiana state-certified teachers provide rigorous, high-quality academic instruction and follow the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Catholic curriculum guidelines for teaching religion .
