5 great career path quizzes

If you're like me, you probably shudder when asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?” I mean, how are we supposed to know? We're only teenagers, after all. However, not having a career plan can be a waste of valuable time and money after graduation. If you're looking to narrow down possible career paths, online career quizzes are a great way to determine which jobs fit your strengths. Here are five of the best career quizzes to get you started:

1. Where Will Your Personality Lead You Quiz

When this quiz tells you it’s “not your typical career quiz,” it isn’t lying. I love the way this quiz askes fun, creative questions that don’t seem to be related to pursuing a career. By the end, however, it will give you a great analysis of your personality and suggest potential careers that would suit you.

2. My Next Move

I really like this quiz because it takes into account your personality traits and the level of education you plan to pursue. It'll give you realistic options and a detailed description of the skills you need to acquire now to pursue it in the future.

3. Good & Co Career Quiz

This quiz is great because it only takes about three minutes. If you are a visual learner, you will love how they present your results using informative graphics!

4. Career Personality Profiler Test

I liked this test because it gives you clear insights into your personality and possible careers. It also does a great job of highlighting the earning potential of different careers!

5. ASA Futurescape Quiz

This quiz is unlike any other. Without giving away any of the surprises it holds, I’ll say that it takes a unique and incredibly engaging approach to analyzing your personality and matching you to potential careers.

Hopefully, these five quizzes will give you a better sense of your strengths and weaknesses, making that “What do you want to be when you grow up?” question a little less scary!
