Passport Academy Charter School held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new facilities at 1835 Centre Ave. in the Hill District, Nov. 7.
Mayor Bill Peduto was on hand, along with principal Jeff “Bo” Jackson and Councilman R. Daniel Lavelle. Passport Academy serves students between ages 17 to 21 who predominantly face circumstantial obstacles to receiving secondary-level education.
